In one sentence
This website does not use cookies, does not track you and does not collect data for marketing purposes. We count visits in aggregate form, without cookies and without recognising anyone. The only personal data we process is what you write to us through the contact form — and we use it only to reply to you.
Who the data controller is
Officine53 — contact: [email protected]. The business is being set up: the full identifying details (company name and VAT number) will be published here and in the site footer as soon as they are available.
What data we process, and why
- Contact form: name, email address, the content of the message and — only if you choose to leave it — a mobile number. We use them for one purpose only: to read your request and reply to you (legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a possible contract, Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We do not use them to send you promotional communications.
- Technical browsing data: like every website, the infrastructure that hosts us records technical data (IP address, requests) in its own security logs, for the time strictly necessary (legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the service).
- Visit statistics: to know whether the site is being read we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures pages viewed, generic origin (country, referring site) and page speed. It uses no cookies and no storage on your device, builds no profiles and follows nobody from one site to another; your IP address is used only, in transit, to tell one visit from another and is not retained. The numbers we see are aggregated and cannot be traced back to a person (legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the site is doing).
Where your data goes
Only where it needs to go to reach us — nowhere else:
- Cloudflare (site hosting, email delivery and visit statistics): privacy policy.
- Resend (the service that delivers the form message to our mailbox): privacy policy. The provider is based in the United States: the transfer is covered by the contractual safeguards provided for by the Regulation (standard contractual clauses).
We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence systems.
How long we keep it
The message stays in our mailbox for the time needed to handle the request and any follow-up. If nothing comes of the request, we have no reason to keep it and you can ask for its deletion at any time.
Cookies
The site uses no cookies, neither its own nor third-party ones — including the visit statistics, which work without them. That is why there is no banner to accept: we would have nothing to ask you to accept.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data, or object to the processing: write to [email protected] and we reply ourselves, directly. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Updates
If this notice changes, the new version will be published here, with the updated date. We will never change the use of data already collected without a basis that allows it.
Language
This notice is a translation of the Italian original. In the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
Version of 29 August 2026 (third: visit statistics without cookies added) · awaiting the professional legal review provided for in our roadmap — if it brings corrections, you will find them here.
